Jonathan Ruiz is amazing! He took the ideas that I want and makes them a dream come true. My tattoo's ended up being what I had envisioned for years. He takes the time in showing me the way the writings would look and the birds I wanted, whether we should size up or down. When it comes time to positioning the paper he makes sure I look twice or more times before approving it. He will always tell me to relax my arm, to put it up and even to bend certain ways to make sure I see if I like how it will end up or not. He even tells me the risks I might take in putting certain tattoos in the parts of my body I want risking falling off once the ink peels off. My experiences with him are amazing! He is my to go guy for everything. He talks to me and makes sure I am ok, if I need to stretch or go to the bathroom because of the position I have to be in. He's an amazing guy and I have nothing but respect and admiration for his work since he first did my first tattoo. I Definitely recommend him!!! He is not only a tattoo artist but he is also the one who specializes in piercings, just an FYI. After getting my first tattoo with Jonathan I went back to him with more ideas and by now I have 5 tattoos in my arms. I'm waiting now on 2 more tattoo's which he is currently working on. Hands down he is awesome, it took him some time to create my COVID baby's tattoo but because of the perfectionist he is. I came in to approve it finally after he felt he was done. We had to remove certain things because it was too much to add in what I wanted but it worked out perfectly as always. I'm not planning on ever, ever switching to anyone else because he just understand me. It's hard to find a person who can take your ideas to a whole new level and for me he is perfect. All my tattoos tell a story about my life. My right hand is my past and my left hand is my present and he knows what tattoos I want representing my life about me and what I should not have. Best place and best guy to come for a tattoo!

Been going there since I was a teenager. I still get happy just walking in. The place is a big part of my memories from way back in the day. I hope Monsters of Rock always stays right where it is. Doing laundry next door would suck without being able to go there to kill time.
